Think Sophia Loren as a senior United Nations official in Kabul, Afghanistan. Graceful, passionate, educated and highly competent. To be this incredible female was her crime. Such gall! Her noble mission was deeply marred by the constant indignant affront for being a woman on the team. Enemy on the outside and in. Why add to the fighting with what she could not change. This extraordinary human accepted her circumstance and by knowing her worth she could see the peace within. She did her job impressively and enjoyed her personal and social time with that peace. And what powerful peace it was! I wish this world the chance to see her dancing! Swaying in the beat. Her body so freely, so sensually expressing the beauty within her. The simplest of ways. Her choice. Her power. Her control.
